A custom-built room in North Essex for recording drums, voices and instruments.

Welcome to Bushwood Studios! My name is Steve Fox, I am a drummer, percussionist and sometime singer. For the last twenty years I have recorded mixed and produced music for clients, friends and myself.

Having moved out of East London during lockdown, I now have purpose-built premises for recording, with the emphasis on a good-sounding room for drums and vocals.

Recording

The purpose-built recording room is well equipped [see Gear Page] with the emphasis on a good sounding room for drums & vocals. There is not a separate control room.

Production

I have recorded a wide range of instruments & styles, so if it’s Rock, Blues, Folk, or Jazz, we can get great sounding results!

Mastering

Another service that is more in demand is the digitising of old vinyl and cassette material, particularly recordings of old gigs, which can now be re mastered. I also enjoy creating sound effects & program / background music for drama, school projects, installations etc.
